SH72429 1/72 Supermarine Sea Otter Mk.I 'WWII Service'
- Customer Reviews
The Supermarine Sea Otter was a development of the famous Walrus. The main difference was the rear facing Bristol Pegasus engine was replaced by a forward facing Bristol Mercury engine. The Sea Otter was used by both the Royal Navy and RAF for air/sea rescue work.
Special Hobby are a model company from the Czech Republic and are part of the same group as MPM. They specialise in limited run plastic kits, usually of subjects that the main manufacturers don't do.
This kit is injection moulded plastic but in a 'short run' style, so will require more care when building than normal kits. It also includes some photo etch metal and also resin parts. Decals are provided for 3 Royal Navy Aircraft.
