The Douglas Boston was similar to the A-20 Havoc. The Boston Mk III was ordered by the RAF as a fast light bomber. They were also used by the SAAF and RAAF and proved successful in their intended role. Boston Mk IV and V's carried a bomb aimer in the nose. Bostons and Havocs were also used as night fighters and intruder aircraft.
Special Hobby is a Czech based manufacturer and this is their 1/72 Douglas Boston Mk IV/V. This is a reboxing of the excellent MPM Boston IV/V (MPM and Special Hobby are the same company). The kit is injection moulded plastic and is well detailed with engraved panel lines and is as good as most mainstream kits. Decals are for 4 RAF/Free French aircraft.
