SH72352 1/72 Dassault Mirage IIICJ

The Mirage III was a supersonic multi role fighter designed and built in the late 1950's by the French company Dassault. The Mirage IIIC was a pure fighter version designed with cannons and able to carry air-to-air missiles. The CJ is the export version build for the Israeli Air Force. The Israeli Air Force took delivery of the Mirages from 1962-64 and they were used very successfully in the six day war of 1967 and the Yom Kippur War of 1973, the Israeli pilots proved more than a match for the Arab pilots even the famed MiG-21.

Special Hobby are a model company from the Czech Republic and are part of the same group as MPM. They specialise in limited run plastic kits, usually of subjects that the main manufacturers don't do. This kit is an all new tool injection moulded plastic kit. It looks to be a high quality kit (as with all recent Special Hobby kits), which looks very well detailed with fine engraved panel lines with decals provided for 4 different Israeli aircraft, plus plenty of ordnance choices.
