- Customer Reviews
The Seafire Mk XV was based on the Spitfire Mk XII but had the Seafire Mk III folding wings. It was therefore the first Seafire fitted with a Griffon engine. Like the Spitfire Mk XII, it was optimised for low level performance. The later Mk XV's had the Stinger type arrestor hook and modified tail.
This is Special Hobby’s model of the Seafire Mk XV. Special Hobby is a manufacturer based in the Czech Republic. The kit is injection moulded with some photo etch metal parts, like the seatbelts. The level of detail is excellent with engraved panel lines and a detailed cockpit.
