The Panzerhaubitze 2000 is the German Army's main self propelled artillery gun. It entered service in 1998 and is capable of delivering rapid and accurate bombardments, with its 155mm gun. It shares many components with the Leopard 2 tank and is highly mobile. The PzH2000 has been exported to other countries, including NATO ones as replacements for the US M109 SP guns. It has also seen action in Afghanistan with German and Dutch forces.
