The JagdTiger was a heavy tank destroyer based on the King Tiger (Tiger II). It was armed with a 128mm gun that could knock out any tank in the world in WW2. It was too heavy, cumbersome and vastly outnumbered to be really effective. Several were equipped with Porsche suspension that Porsche had designed for a heavy tank.

Hobby Boss are a relatively new company to us in Western Europe. They are from China and are connected with Trumpeter. Hobby Boss are known for producing well engineered kits with a good level of detail. This particular kit looks very well detailed and comes with individual track links, photo etch metal grilles and decals.
