The Me 262 was one of the first operational jet fighters and was the most advanced produced during WW2. The A-1b was an experimental version of the Me262 and was the same as the standard Me262A-1a but it replaced the Jumo engines with BMW engines. Only 2 prototypes were made.
Hobby Boss are a relatively new company to us in Western Europe, they are from China and are connected with Trumpeter. Hobby Boss are known for producing well engineered kits with a good level of detail.
This particular kit looks very well detailed and comes with an optional diecast metal forward wheel well to prevent 'tail sitting'.
Markings are provided for 1 plane and the kit includes 4 of the experimental air to air missiles the Germans were developing.
