The Roland C.II was a WW1 biplane that became operational in 1916. It was a Bomber and Reconnaissance aircraft but was armed with 2 machine guns and was roughly equal in air to air combat with the best Allied fighters during 1916. It was fast in both a climb and level flight and was considered by some Allied pilots as the best German aircraft during 1916.
This is Eduard's Roland C.II 1/48 Profipack kit and it looks very nice. The kit comes with a set of colour photo etch parts, wheel + window mask and markings for 4 aircraft.
