The Albatros D.V was the final version of the Albatros D.I line and first saw service in 1917. Although not considered the best fighter, it was produced in numbers due to the structural issues in the Fokker DR.I and poor performance of the Pfalz. It was replaced in 1918 by the more capable Fokker D.VII.
Eduard are a Czech based manufacturer famed for their model accessories. They have in the last few years released a successful range of kits. The Weekend editions contain the basic plastic kits with usually only up to 4 marking options. Markings are for 4 German aircraft.
