EDK11169 1/48 Lockheed F-104C Starfighter THE ZIPPER

The F-104 Starfighter was a single engine supersonic jet fighter that entered service in 1958. It was one of the first aircraft to be capable of Mach 2 but it also suffered many accidents and the Luftwaffe pilots called it 'the widowmaker'. Despite this it had a successful near-50 year career as a front line fighter and was used by the USAF, Japan and most NATO air forces.

This is Ltd Ed kit contains plastic parts by Kinetic with Photo Etch, plus canopy mask and resin parts by Eduard. There are decals for 7 different USAF aircraft, some used in Vietnam.
